FRAGMIN is indicated for the prophylaxis of DVT in patients undergoing hip replacement surgery.1
- In hip replacement surgery patients, the incidence of total DVT in FRAGMIN patients was 13.1% as compared to 24.0% in warfarin patients (P<0.001)
- The incidence of proximal DVT for FRAGMIN patients was 0.8% as compared to 3.0% in warfarin patients (P=0.03; RRR=73%)1-3
- Bleeding comparable to warfarin in preoperative and postoperative groups3
- The only LMWH indicated for once-daily, early post-op dosing1
